Je m'appelle Philippe Bullot. Je suis né en 1960 à Soissons (France).
J'habite près de Strasbourg (Alsace) et je travaille dans l'industrie chimique (amylacés).
Mes passions vont de John Coltrane à l'Egypte Antique, en passant par l'informatique, les cultures africaines et amérindiennes, Magma, J.M.G.LeClézio, The Marx Brothers et The Monthy Python, Moebius (Jean Giraud), Bruegel, H.R.Giger, la science-fiction, Philip K.Dick et Jacques Tati.
J'ai quelques défauts: j'aime le Pauillac et je collectionne les masques de tous pays.
J'ai découvert Terragen et MojoWorld en Mai 2002. En Octobre de la même année, j'ai mis en ligne mes premières images.
Depuis 2003, j'ai écrit plusieurs tutoriels pour débuter avec Terragen, Terraformer et World Machine.
En Aout 2003 j'ai rejoint le groupe de discussion francophone Planeteterragen où j'ai rencontré des artistes singuliers, attachants et dévoués envers le débutant que j'étais alors. Auprès de son fondateur Hillrunner, j'ai animé cette sympathique communauté de Mars 2004 à Janvier 2006.
En Janvier 2006, associé à Christianfly, nous avons créé le forum planete-terragen.org pour succéder au groupe de discussion.
Depuis 2002, j'utilise en amateur plusieurs générateurs de paysages (Terragen, Vue Esprit et Mojoworld) pour créer des paysages et des scènes de science-fiction.
Sous le pseudonyme de Darthmagus, je montre régulièrement mes images aux membres de plusieurs communautés dédiées à l'image de synthèse.

My name is Philippe Bullot. I was born in 1960 in Soissons (France).
I live near to Strasbourg (Alsace). I work in the chemical industry (starch-based).
My centers of interest go from John Coltrane to Ancient Egypt, while passing by personal computers, the African and Amerindian cultures, Magma, J.M.G.LeClézio, The Marx Brothers and The Monthy Python, Moebius (Jean Giraud), Bruegel, H.R.Giger, Sci-Fi, Philip K.Dick and Jacques Tati.
I have some defects: I appreciate Pauillac and I collect the masks of all countries.
I discovered Terragen and MojoWorld in May 2002. In October of the same year, I put on line my first images.
From 2003, I wrote many tutorials for beginners about Terragen, Terraformer and World Machine (I also translated in French the program StrataGen).
I joined in August 2003 the French newsgroup Planeteterragen where I discovered singular artists, benevolent towards the beginner who I was. With its founder Hillrunner, I animated this community of Mars 2004 to January 2006.
In January 2006, associated to Christianfly, I created the planete-terragen.org forum in order to replace the dead newsgroup.
Since 2002, I use several graphic programs (Terragen, Vue Esprit and Mojoworld) to create landscapes and science-fiction pictures.
Also known as Darthmagus, I show my images at the members of several Computer Graphic communities.
